PRISON OUTREACH
Thailand has a reputation for atrocious living conditions in its prison, whether or not this is based on
fact or interpretation surviving in a Thai prison is not easy. Underfunded it is necessary to purchase even the most basic of life's necessities.
For a number of years Haven staff have been visiting Chiang Rai maximum security prison. Providing some of life's simple necessities for many of the people without help from outside. The visiting staff hold a yearly Christmas party the highlight of the year for those attending and provide written correspondence and advice for some of the inmates.
At the Haven Project we love to share our vision and work with others. You can be a part of this vibrant ministry. Volunteers can apply to come for between one week to three months, and teams can apply for either all or some of their time overseas.
